Registering at Slotlounge with the Paperwork You Already Have
The sign-up form takes a few minutes. What takes longer is digging out the right bank statement, working out whose name is on the power bill and finding a photo of your licence that is not cut off at the corner. Nearly everything Slotlounge asks for is already in your wallet, your inbox or your phone’s photo roll.

Three proofs and where to find them
| Proof | What is accepted | Where it usually lives |
|---|---|---|
| Who you are | NZ driver licence, passport or 18+ card | Your wallet; photograph it flat, all four corners visible |
| Where you live | Bank statement from ANZ, ASB, BNZ, Kiwibank or Westpac, or a power bill | Internet banking e-statements, or the PDF from your power company |
| Your payment method | Front of the card or a wallet screenshot | Your phone; cover the middle digits and the security code |
Download the statement as a PDF from internet banking rather than screenshotting the banking app, which tends to crop the address. Keep it recent, ideally issued within the last three months.
Flatting complicates the address proof. If the power account is in a flatmate’s name, the bill shows their name and not yours, so it will not help. Your own bank statement will.
The sign-up in order
What goes into the form
You enter an email address, a password and a mobile number, then your full name, date of birth, country and street address. Type the name exactly as it is printed on your NZ driver licence or passport, middle names included. Nicknames and shortened first names are the commonest reason a document check fails later. If your name carries a macron, copy it as printed. Should the form refuse the character, ask live chat before you submit instead of quietly dropping it.
The address works the same way. Give the one on your latest bank statement, because that is the paper that will back it up.
After you submit, a confirmation link arrives by email. Click it, and if nothing turns up within a few minutes, look in the spam or promotions folder before asking live chat to resend it. A mailbox you check daily saves a lot of waiting, since both the link and later replies from support go there.
If a document is turned back
A rejected upload usually has an ordinary cause, and each has a quick fix:
- A cropped corner or glare over the photo: retake it in daylight on a dark table.
- A bill older than about three months: pull a fresh statement.
- A name that differs from the form: tell live chat what changed, for example a married name, and attach the paper that shows it.
- An address that has moved: enter the current one on the form and prove it with a statement showing that address.
Settings worth a look on day one
Apply these before the first payment, not after a bad night:
- Deposit limits, which sit in the account settings.
- Time-outs, found in the same place.
- Age and support: players must be adults, and the Gambling Helpline on 0800 654 655 is free and confidential at any hour.
Choosing NZD, because it is hard to undo
The account can be held in euros, Canadian dollars, Australian dollars or New Zealand dollars. Pick NZD. Currency is awkward to change once the account exists, and a different one means your bank converts every deposit and every payout at its own rate. The minimum first deposit is 30 New Zealand dollars.
Verification and the bonus box
When verification happens
Verification is required before your first withdrawal. It does not depend on how much you won, and it is not triggered by a big payout. You can upload the papers any time after registering, and a spare ten minutes on the evening you sign up will do it. Uploads go through your account area, and support answers by email, so use an address you actually read.
The bonus tick on the first deposit
The welcome offer appears on the first deposit screen, carrying 40x wagering. The choice is made before you pay and normally cannot be reversed afterwards. Prefer to keep your balance free to withdraw once verification is done? Leave the box unticked. The Slotlounge bonus page covers how the wagering plays out.
Registration questions from Kiwis
Is a Kiwibank or ASB e-statement good enough as proof of address?
Yes, provided it is a PDF from internet banking, shows your name and address and is recent. Statements from ANZ, ASB, BNZ, Kiwibank and Westpac are the usual choice.
My licence still shows my old flat. What do I enter?
Enter your current address on the form and back it up with a bill or statement showing that address. The licence confirms who you are, so tell live chat about the mismatch before uploading and the reviewer will know why.
Should I include the macron in my name?
Copy the spelling printed on your passport or licence, macrons included. If the form will not accept it, ask live chat how to proceed before you submit.
Can I change the account currency after registering?
Treat it as fixed. Euro, Canadian, Australian and New Zealand dollars are on offer, and switching afterwards is hard, so choose NZD at the start.
Do I have to upload documents before my first deposit?
No. Verification is required before your first withdrawal. You can upload early if you like, but nothing is asked of you at the deposit stage.
Will the power bill in my flatmate’s name work?
No, because it shows their name and not yours. Use your own bank statement instead.
I ticked the bonus box by mistake. What now?
If you have not paid yet, untick it. Once the deposit has gone through the choice is normally final, so message live chat straight away and ask what can be done.
