Privacy Notice

Version dated 8 October 2026.
Readers of the Slotlounge guide leave very little behind, and this notice sets out exactly what. It concerns the guide only. Once you register at the casino and hand over personal details there, the casino’s own privacy policy takes over, and we have no access to those details.

Who answers for the data

The editorial team that publishes the guide is the controller of the personal data described below. We run no casino, keep no player accounts and process no payments. Your play, your deposits and your identity documents are therefore invisible to us.

What reaches us

Two kinds of information arrive. The first is technical and comes with every page request: IP address, device and browser type, the pages opened, the time, and the page that sent you here. The second is whatever you choose to write to us, which means your email address and the text of your message. Cookies add a third, small category, covered further down.

What we do with it

Technical data keeps pages loading, helps block abusive traffic and shows which articles get read, so the editors know where to spend effort. Messages are used to answer you and, when you point out an error, to fix it. No advertising profile of any individual reader is built, and nothing about you is decided by automated means.
The lawful grounds differ by purpose. Running and protecting the site relies on our legitimate interest in operating a working publication. Analytics and optional cookies rely on your consent wherever the law requires it. Answering a message relies on the fact that you asked us a question.

Cookies

A strictly necessary cookie records your cookie choice. If you accept analytics cookies, they count visits and show page popularity. You can change your mind through the cookie settings or in your browser, and clearing cookies resets the choice.

Who else touches the data

Hosting and analytics companies handle data on our behalf under confidentiality and data-protection terms. Authorities receive data only if the law obliges us. The guide also links to the casino and to other sites, and each of those sites handles data by its own rules from the moment you click.
If a provider’s servers lie outside your country, we expect it to use contract terms or other safeguards that the applicable law recognises for such transfers.

How long it stays

Server logs are held briefly, for security. Analytics figures are kept in summarised form that does not point to a person. Messages are kept while your question is open, plus a reasonable period for follow-up.

Protection

Pages are served over an encrypted connection, access to our systems is limited and providers are reviewed from time to time. No online service is risk-free, so please never email passwords, card numbers or identity documents. We will not request them.

What you can ask of us

You may ask to see the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to limit or object to its use, to receive a portable copy, or to withdraw a consent you gave. If you remain unhappy with our answer, you can take the matter to the supervisory authority in your own country.

Younger visitors

The guide is written for adults. We do not knowingly gather data from anyone below the legal gambling age, and a message that proves to come from a minor is deleted.

If this notice changes

A revised notice replaces this one on the same page under a new date. We will point out a substantial change on the site.
